Brenda Gregory, MS

3/6 Splenic Projector

Brenda earned a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States after graduating with Bachelor of Science degrees in Pre-Medicine and Psychology from Portland State University. Before earning her Master’s, she spent a decade working in Alzheimer’s Disease, Cognitive Neuroscience, and Nutritional research. Later, she served as Nutrition Director for Onnit, an Austin, TX supplement company, writing nutrition articles and assisting in product development. It was here, she discovered the desire to work with clients in an individualized capacity and started her company, Energized Wellness, as a Functional Medicine Nutritionist.

Throughout her years as a practitioner, she noticed stress was the common theme in every client with chronic ailments. When it comes to stress, the nervous system “runs the show” and is programmed through major and minor traumas from the time we are conceived. Needing to understand more about releasing stress from the body, Brenda began studying Neuro Emotional Technique (NET). The combination of releasing trauma wounds with nutrition and lifestyle changes has become a key focus in Brenda’s practice. Lasting health truly arises when we examine ALL potential roots of chronic ailments.

Currently, Brenda lives and practices in Austin, TX but sees clients all over the US. She is a perpetual student but takes breaks from learning to ride her bike, camp with her husband, cook, and meditate.
