Audrey Barden Rossetti

LAc., MAcOM (She/Her)

I am a creative-minded and compassionate integrative medicine practitioner with a personal mission to co-create freedom and prosperity for all beings. On a day-to-day level, this means I meet each client where they are at, determine what is preventing them from truly thriving, and address the underlying issue using acupuncture, herbal medicine, tarot, and self-care strategies that are tailored to the individual.

I have had success collaborating with my patients to relieve and manage emotional imbalances such as anxiety and depression, PTSD, physical pain, allergies, digestive issues, insomnia, and supporting addiction recovery. I love to inspire and motivate people toward their own definition of what wellness means to them, and to help them sustain long-term progress with their health goals. I particularly love working with people who have not felt seen or heard by modern allopathic medicine for any reason, but particularly due to stigmatized health concerns.

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, I was working as a certified nursing assistant in a residential facility for people living with HIV/AIDS when I decided to apply to acupuncture school. Intending to heal the community on a deeper level, I also ended up learning how to heal myself, and I am excited to share these insights and tools with you.

I am a nationally board-certified acupuncturist and herbalist and licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. I received my undergraduate degree in Literature from the University of California Santa Barbara; my four-year Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin.

extra training

I am an official Aroma Acupoint Therapist and have had special training in the medical use of potent, high-grade essential oils for the treatment of all kinds of conditions. I have been studying with Tiffany Carole Pollard and Peter Holmes since 2014 and continue to learn and practice every day. A lot of this training has been focused around the use of these oils to deal with psycho-emotional/spiritual/social conditions from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective. I have also studied Neoclassical Pulse Diagnosis with Will Morris, and The Treatment of Addiction with Acupuncture & Somatic Therapies with Andre Zitcer.

I've been seeing Audrey and her practice of acupuncture as a complimentary treatment to Complex-PTSD along with EMDR therapy since the beginning of the year. I am not the same person I was when I started. Each treatment is slightly different depending on what I come in with and I am always amazed by what it is I feel during and after a treatment. Audrey does an amazing job at listening to what it is I share and she supplements a treatment that boost my healing with whatever it is I am feeling physically and/or emotionally. This includes a wrist surgery and shoulder pain from work overuse (I'm a massage therapist). I also really enjoy the nuggets of Chinese medicinal wisdom she drops in during my treatments, they give me something to conceptually grasp and a sense of relief, that what I am feeling is all part of a bigger picture and that I am okay.

Whether you are a newbie or a veteran to Chinese medicine, I highly recommend seeing Audrey if you are leaning towards acupuncture treatment. She has helped me tremendously with clearing old, energetic blockages that kept me in a sluggish, depressed state for years.

If you are new to acupuncture and are curious about it, then I suggest trying one of the community nights. This was my first treatment. When I felt the cooling sensation arise over my lungs (this is where grief is stored in the body) is when I decided to make my first individual appointment. The experience at community night opened my door to the benefits of Traditional Chinese medicine.

In a matter of months, Audrey (owner of Good Luck Wellness) has helped me make massive progress on some of my most chronic, deep-seated health issues. I highly recommend visiting her if you're looking to heal the underlying causes of your physical or emotional discomforts - especially nebulous challenges like depression. Not only does Audrey have a deep mastery of Chinese Medicine, but her knowledge around health/wellness extends into other western and eastern modalities. She also has a unique talent of fusing rigorous practicality with intuition, allowing her to identify and treat the subtle nuances that evade most other modes of healing. Last but not least, Audrey's treatment room is pretty magical and you can find Good Luck Wellness on ClassPass :).

In the short time that I’ve known Audrey, she has made my life better. Her healing capabilities have innumerable facets. I had an issue with pressure and tightness along my ribcage, which lasted for more than a year and which I tried to eradicate using every external method: foam rolling, weightlifting, weird twists and postures. In a gentle style catered to my specific constitution, she used acupuncture and essential oils to bring me to a greater state of balance. After one session, I was able to take deep breaths without feeling discomfort in my ribs. I had forgotten what it felt like to take deep breaths without pain! She is also a storehouse of knowledge, and in addition to having an amazing session with her, she has given me tools for self-care that I will probably use for the rest of my life.
